Aviso ao pessoal do mergulho: ide, ide mergulhar para a banheira!

Filmes da minha vida

Gosto muito de cinema, mas isso não significa, longe disso, que seja um entendido. Seja como for, um destes dias, junto com um amigo de longa data, relembrámos alguns daqueles filmes que nos marcaram. Eu, com o Dreyer e A Palavra ou A Paixão de Joana D´Arc, Bergman com A Sonata de Outono, entre tantos outros, pelas interpretações fabulosas da Ingrid Bergman e especialmente da Liv Ullmann. No entanto, tive a sorte de ele se ter lembrado de um filme fantástico, do qual eu, com tanto filme, me esquecí. "The Tree of Wooden Clogs", de Ermanno Olmi, E não merecia o meu esquecimento. Se há filmes que transcendem tudo o que de bom um filme pode ter, é esse filme cujo nome em português é “A Arvore dos Tamancos”.
Fui revê-lo e aí está ele, tão datado e tão sem data como todas as obras-primas. Transcendente e, ao mesmo tempo, dando sentido à vida. Deixa-nos vislumbrar um pouco aquela centelha Dívina que nos une a todos. Faz-nos sentir. Transforma-nos em gente melhor.
Imperdível.

Reflexão sobre a natureza humana

Ao ler este post, lembrei-me de uma história recente. Resumindo, falava-se disto:
- "Researchers from the Free University of Amsterdam immediately doubted the rock was from the moon, and began extensive testing. The tests concluded the rock was petrified wood. U.S. embassy officials were unable to explain the findings, but are investigating."
Muito mais do que a falsificação, que não é de estranhar por aí além, a caixa de comentários é uma delícia.
